Swedish cosmetics was showcased at Cosmoprof Bologna for the first time, 15-18th of March. A collective exhibition with eight beauty companies from Sweden, co-ordinated by Business Sweden, The Swedish Trade and Invest Council.
Cosmoprof is the world’s leading cosmetics fair for all sectors of the beauty industry. The fair had over 2600 exhibitors and 250,000 visitors in 2018. The Swedish pavilion was the first event of its kind at Cosmoprof, promoting the Swedish Beauty industry. Business Sweden arranged the pavilion and supported the brands with increasing their international sales, minimizing risks in new markets and with finding new revenue streams. The theme of the exhibition was the sustainability, innovation and quality that you find in Swedish cosmetics brands. Environmental consciousness runs deep in Swedish culture and corporate sustainability does not necessarily exclude quality or innovation, nor creativity.
IKEA Italy contributed to the stand with a magnificent Swedish business lounge: incorporating the Swedish colors and natural materials, creating a playful and functional space where Business meetings were held and people gathered.
SWEDISH BEAUTY showcased the companies Cicamed, Gilda Cosmetic, Grazette of Sweden, Glam of Sweden, Idun Minerals Stockholm, Powerlite, Smile Lab and Viva La Diva. The Embassy of Sweden held an interesting speech during the inauguration, and all companies were coached by advocates from law firm De Berti Jacchia Franchini Forlani.
