Siena Football Club

Siena FC: identity, roots e ambition

Siena FC is a club deeply rooted in the history and football tradition of Siena, a city where a strong sense of belonging and local pride have always played a central role. Founded in the early 1900s (1904), the club has gone through different eras, experiencing both successes and challenges, while always remaining true to its core values: hard work, technical quality, and team spirit.

Today, Siena FC has entered a new chapter in its history. Since autumn 2024, the ownership group led by Jonas Bodin, Fredrik Dahlin, and Patrick Englund, together with a network of over 180 Swedish investors, has launched an ambitious and well-structured project. The goal is to build a solid and sustainable path capable of bringing the club back to professional football.

At the heart of this vision is the ambition to combine Swedish organization and innovation with Italian passion and sporting culture. Great emphasis is placed on the development of the youth sector, considered the cornerstone of the project, with the aim of developing new homegrown talents each year, ready to grow within the club. At the same time, the new ownership has made significant investments in the women’s sector, with the objective of building a competitive team and supporting its gradual progression through the leagues.

Siena FC also aims to be a key reference point for the local community, strengthening its bond with the territory and actively contributing to the social life of the city. Rebuild, Respect, Reward is the motto that summarizes this journey: rebuilding trust with supporters and citizens, respecting the club’s history, and creating value through daily commitment.

Looking ahead, Siena FC approaches the future with ambition, determined to build a modern, competitive club that the entire city of Siena can be proud of.
